Title: 110 CSW TD5 problems

Hello,
So whos had a TD5 engine for 50,000 miles plus,
was it fault free,
did the gearbox last ok,
And has anybody had a defender fitted with air con, is it worth having,
Thinking about buying one, but worried about the usual Landrover problems, but mainly the engine.

Any advice greatly recieved,

I ran a Td5 Discovery for 3 years.... covered well over 150,000 miles in it with no problems.

There was a fault with the gearbox selector shaft, but it was a minor fix they did with a service.

There will doubtlessly be tales of woe as far as the Td5 goes, but not from me...  it was a great engine in a great vehicle.
