Title: Wheel/ tyres sizes
Post by: diff-breaker on June 04, 2006, 17:53:37
MIght have been asked before - but can anyone advise the maximum
tyre size on set of standard Series 3 wheel. I have been told you can get 750x16's say ex army G90's on without any coversion - is this true ?
Any advice as I am considering getting the most aggressive tyre on std rims.

SWB rims are 5-inches deep, LWB rims are 5.5-inches deep.  235/85 and 7.50 on a LWB rim you are fine.  Putting 235/85 or 7.50 onto a SWB is regarded as a no no.
