Title: First Time Off Roader
Post by: RikWilson on May 12, 2006, 12:54:26
Hi Everyone, im 20 and have just bought an almost brand new (2 months old 800 miles) freelander td4 aventurer.
I want to take the car off roading, but have no idea where I can go to do this.
I live in Warrington in Cheshire, and I would like somewhere to go to get a taste of off roading.

Hi Rik

Try and get along to your local Regional meet, and I'am sure someone would be organising some Green Laning, which strictly isn't off-road, or a pay & play day near to your area, this is the best way to meet fellow like minded people.

All the best mate. :)

www.cowmleisure.co.uk at whitworth near Rochdale is pretty good - some good routes which are non damaging. The site at Burnley is a bit more extreme - lots of mad Suzuki SJ's

Give me a shout if you fancy going to Whitworth
