I think the rev counter is dodgy!

Can anyone give me a clue as to what revs it should be doing? Say at 50mph in fifth gear?
Going through the gears, it sounds like I'm revving the doodahs off it and the rev counter is only showing 3000 rpm!

i remember reading somewhere that an sj410 does 65mph (cough downhill maybe) at about 6000rpm. they all sound like you are thrashing the hell out of them as far as i know mate. Mine does.

Yeah, I thought so. Mine only shows about 3000 rpm at 50mph!!
