Title: Range Rover 3.9 EFI in a Defender?
Post by: Robbiellewellyn on March 28, 2006, 20:10:27
Is is possible to replace a N/A 2.5 diesel with a 3.9 EFI range rover engine? Friend of mine is selling hers for £350 so wondering if it was possible? Any other modifications that would need doing? Cheers,
Rob

You will need to move the engine mounts about 2" to make it fit

I have a set of engine mounts that you weld to the chassis that I got from QT. I was going to replace my chassis with a 300tdi chassis and needed the v8 mounts, so I got them from QT. Now I am going with a new chassis from Richards Chassis and do not need the mounts. I think I paid £25 shipped you can have them for £20 shipped.
