EARLY WARNING OF SEVERE WEATHER
EARLY WARNING of Heavy Snow and Blizzards Issued by the Met Office at 09:41 on Friday, 10 March
OVERALL RISK ASSESSMENT: The probability of disruption due to severe weather conditions in part of the United Kingdom within the next 60 hours is 70 percent.
This is the first warning of disruption due to Heavy Snow and Blizzards.
The Met Office is forecasting a period of heavier snow across many northern areas of the United Kingdom for a time over the weekend. The greatest risk of disruption will be focussed over higher ground where up to 15cm of snow could accumulate and drift in strong winds. At lower levels and across other parts of the country, the risk of disruption is much less. Milder air pushing in from the west will turn the snow to rain so any disruption will be transient.
There is some uncertainty with regards to the timing and amount of snow but the risk is considered high enough to issue an early warning for this event.
This warning will be updated by 10:00 on Saturday 11th March 2006.

Well it is coming down steadily here but that very fine snow which makes it difficult to see but will take forever to get a decent covering on the ground. Fingers crossed it will get worse soon

Theres plenty of snow in parts of the midlands (west midlands/shropshire).
I've spent part of the morning clearing up at a canceled model car meeting, its amazing how popular a set of mud terrains and a tow ball can make you when there are caravans and trailers in the middle of a snowy feild.
-
just got a couple, went over the beach and up some sand dunes!
also note the enjoyment of the dog!
-

do your rear wheel arches catch as those tyres look very close to the body work.
-
drove the grasshills causeway today with disco gerordie (pictures to follow once he gets them uploaded)
Managed to get from one end to the other no worries but once at the other end decided to come back across the same route but drifts had started to frezze so had to come off the hills once disco geordie had been recovered as he got well and truely stuck.
-
hi muddyjames yes they do as you can see the rear wings a fibreglass and the wheel had taken a chunk out of it before i bought it they are next on my list to cut the arches back and fit some defender plastic arches on . she also sits a little low that side even after changing all the shocks and springs :? i was supposed to be tking the slu off today but went out to play instead :D
