Looks like they have good CFM - that's a definate plus.   I think they'd probably do the trick nicely - Did your old fan clutch give up? or just converting because...?

i took the viscous fan out but have only got the aircon fans doing the cooling at the minute, they could do with a bit more airflow really, it works fine but i,ve not had it in summer with them yet, there,s no aircon on the car before anyone asks i binned it but kept the fans

Worth bearing in mind that there are loads of suitable fans in scrapyards for very little cash.  Most modern cars and vans have electric fans and there are plenty to choose from.

Are they best mounted in front or behind the rad ??

mine are in front as they push air thru rad but it depends which type you get some go in front and some like on most cars go behind pulling the air thru the rad

As already mentioned fans can either be push or pull, but rarely unlike the ones on the link both.  It is vital that you position them accordingly if you have bought s/h.

My fans on the racer are behind the rad to make them less vulnerable to obstructions and high-speed fording - and the ones that I found in the scrappy were rear mounted so that decided it!
