Roll cage finished on BT-R (bob tailed rangie).
Now on to the engine.

There defender ones from eblag @ £59.00 + pp
Slight seconds (surface damage), but makes no odds as there going to be painted.

real pig. better to get the Devon ones that fix to the surface.

What a superb job. What tubing did you use and what type of pipe bender.

tube was 45mm cold drawn seamless bent on a hydraulic bender. all joints were welded by a coded welder. some of the butt welds are invisable....

That is one awsome looking cage.
Im currently building a bobbed rangie.
Im a bit unsure about the cill through the front wing.
Is the any chance you could give me advise on where the cage is mounted internally.

Pedro, technically its an external cage, not internal.
The front/rear hoops are connected to the chasis. The front one comes down in front of the front door post (see picture), the rear one connects to the chasis just next to the body out rigger. This one comes through the floor (rear footwell).
If you need any more info, just ask.

Hi chap looks good. Im thinking of doing one this spring any chance of a pic of the roof and rear cab as this is the part im not sure about.

As per the rear, runs along side the body/chasis mount and is welded to a plate that is welded to the chasis.
Will try and post some close ups.....
