Just bought a Disco spare wheel rim part number STC8136 but the keys to the lock are missing, I have stripped the lock, but just wondering if these locks are available anywhere ?
Thanks Guys

Is it the locking wheel nut you are after?
I'm sure your local car parts shop or Halfrauds would be cheapest if that's what you are after
-
No, the stainless steel ring that goes around the tyre has a lock on it, havent got the key and its been forced so need another lock barrel.
-
Sorry, haven't got one on mine, so can't relate to what you are describing
-
See if you can post a pic, I'm at a loss for what it is as well
-
ok if you picture your spare wheel. Most have a vinyl cover, mine has a stainless steel rim going round it with a catch and lock at the bottom.
Picture is of the ring upside down showing the catch, the lock is on the catch.
Hope that helps.

Now I see
For a spare key, you would need the lock number (usually printed on the lock somewhere) and the manufacturers details...... Are there any markings on it anywhere?
Failing that, you could fabricate a new bracket and use a padlock, but that probably wouldn't look as good

Lock has been forced but its a genuine land rover part. number STC8136
I have found a couple of locks on eblag but they will be a bit too big but it would be good to get the correct one.
-
Might be worth approaching your nearest Main Stealer, seeing what they can offer then getting the part number(s) and shopping around.
-
Well I found a couple of locks on eblag bit they are a bit too long really, might brave going to a main dealer tomorrow waiting for confirmation of second mortgage as we speak.
Failing that, I was thinking of welding an eye to the catch and using a padlock but it wont look as good.

Better off without it! BLING = YUK,
