Title: Marini LPG tank valve Q
Post by: Snake110 on February 10, 2006, 14:31:14
Hi ive just fitted a single hole 110L marini tank
with the combi guage/inlet/outlet brass valve

question is on opposit sides ov this unit is a little thumbscrew
type valve knob now what are they for
as twiddling either of them in or out seems to have no
effect at all on gas flow in or out  :?:

The bad nes is that that sort of tank doesn't coly with the relevant standards.

One of the thumbscrews does cut fuel to the engine, but you need to leave it screwed in for a minute before the engine stops.  The other cuts off the filler connection.

Ah right o that is what i expected them to do they just dont seem to :?
mmm not compliant  :?: i thought it was the 4 hole tanks that
were old hat now  :?  see i got donated 2 tanks
a 60l 4 hole and this 110l single and the 4 hole looks old as an
old thing but the single looks like new and seeing as its
got almost twice the capacity of the 4 hole i went with that :!:
