i was wondering today about fitting disco arches and had a thought does anybody make the same shape arches that devon sell but in a flexible plastic so they can take a bit of bashing if you do hit something from the side, i know you can make the defender ones fit but in my opinion they just dont look right, so if you cant get them then why hasnt anybody done this.  joe

			-
well, trimmed defender arches do the job

			-
I like the sound of your arched disco, do you have a photo I could look at please?

			-
to me it makes sense to get defender arches as they are cheap and easy to replace  :D and when trimmed properley look quite nice i thinks  8) thats my plan to fit some after crimbo  :?

			-
What work is involved in fitting defender arches :?:  does anyone have pics  :?:

			-
ive only seen em fitted to a disco once in the flesh...and it wasnt pretty!

			-
I THINK DISCO CHRIS HAS DONE IT BEFORE AND IT VERY GOOD IT DEPENDS ON UR SKILL LEVEL FRM WOT I KNOW IT HARD WORK BUT IF U KEEP AT IT THEY CAN LOOK TOPS
(ops cap locks  )

			-
sorry it was red disco ere is the pic

			-
well that looks good from this angle :D

			-
looks good to me, might have to give it a go in the new year :D

			-
I'm not sure from other angles though

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAND-ROVER-DEFENDER-WHEEL-ARCHES-SPATS_W0QQitemZ4599295485QQcategoryZ31348QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

			-
Shiny wheels or what...hmmm odesnt look good from the back > i have found the arches to be pretty strong. Im sure they will break if hit too hard but ok so far.

			-
There is someone selling copies of the Rangie Spares/Devon 4x4 arches on E-Bay..They are MUCH cheaper and they look exactly the same.
Defender arches just don't look right on a Disco...I've seen a few and they all looked cobbled together with pop rivets and gaffer tape..

			-
i just think that 200 pound for some fibre glass is so much when if done rite those def arches can look ok jake that pic u put up looks as though the arches have seen better days anyway   but hey ho we all like diffrent things       i hope u all have a good crimbo

			-
Martin i,ve got mine on now so will post pic,s in the morning(later today really). they are the copies off e-bay and cost me £153 inc postage!!!!!!!!
believe me it,s not a cheap job fitting 35,s to a disco!!

			-
Chris , im just puzzled why you needed so much lift, mine only has 2inch lift and 35's dont rub unless on extreme articulation(and I mean EXTREME)

			-
    guys come on now stop talkin about 35 inch tyres and the stuff that goes with it as ur all giving me ideas now and if the swmbo finds out u lot better hide            chris i bet ur motor looks sorted now hey bulli nice disco dude

			-
bulli im lovin that spray job that is so cool how u do it and they are def arches yeah mate my hat goes off to ya

			-
Some things are not supposed to be given away...
They are the arches from Devon 4x4 who i have found to be damn good to deal with. They are reasonably tough as i scraped them yesterday whilst at an obscure angle in a washout on Chaple gate. I did remove one at kirton but that was my fault as i hadnt taken away quite enough metal!
Devon sold me one separate.
Glad you like it.... the urban disco look was cheap

			-
is it stickers or spray paint come on do tell        i have seen another type of 4x4 done wit stickers and that was good  :D

			-
You may be onto something there...a lot of time and patience and a scalple is all thats required!

ah ha i like it not that i would want to copy ur design  8)    just mine being white already we could start the urban crew massive

			-
Im looking at adding some more, gets stares (did before the new look) from other road users. The main advantage is paintwork protection!

			-
i was thinking along the line of spraying it exactly like the american urban camo kit !!!!

			-
Hooray!! got the pics on here at last!

			-
				    how clean lol

			-
i know, but its the first time i,ve ever washed it!!
had to removed all that whaddon mud to see where to cut the bodywork away from.
(and no the viva,s not mine!)
