				Hi........I am changing my tyres to 235x85x16 Maxima's http://www.algarpneus.pt/fedima/fedima.htm
Can anyone recommend the pressures to run them at for road use.

			-
they look like firestone SAT's,got them on my 90    i run them at 26 for daily driving & when playing go down to about 10psi

			-
MIke sounds spot on . I normally dont go as low as 10 but depends on conditions.

			-
Is the 26 psi front and rear ?

			-
				yep,26 all round
be warned though, they are ****** scary in the wet, they make there own mind up when they want to grip on wet tarmac

			-
Before you part with your money, make sure they carry the appropriate 'E' mark and speed rating for road use...  you could find yourself without insurance if they don't

			-
They do have the correct approvel for road use....but I must admit 26 psi seems low for the weight of a Discovery....but if you guys are sure I will go with it.

			-
I run mine generally around 26, occasionally up to 30 if im going on a very long run but they dont feel as sure footed somehow. Yeah Tims right check they are legal for your disco....uninsured isnt somewhere you want to go.

			-
In the end I got 7.50x16, should I still run them at 26psi for road use ?

			-
Wow, I normally run at about 35psi at the front and 32psi at the back.  I found I was getting a lot of wear at 25psi.
The 101 tyres are now at 45psi, which is probably overkill, but it's bloody heavy.

			-
I run my 238/85/16s at 30psi all round. That semms to work best for me.

			-
So should the pressures be the same for 7.50 x 16 as used with 235x85x16............Does anyone on here run on 7.50 x 16 Sat's

			-
yes,i run 750 sat's,got mine at 30 just now to try & its even worse in the wet, will prob put it back to 26 tommorow

			-
I run mine at what the manual said... 30 front, 40 rear.. or it may be 28 front 38 rear.
no problems gripping anything in any weather, on 235/85/16 grizzly claws :-)

I am putting a 2" lift on my Disco. Will 235/85/16ATs  fit without further modification or are they just too big :? Just been offered some at a low price

ive got 235/85/16s on mine with 1" spaces, I had to trim the rear arches and the front valence

			-
it all depends on what tyres - I used grizzly claws and they would catch on the plastic sill covers..
I therefore gor a set of sill bars made a bit shorter than the plastic ones (which are now for sale £125!)
I also cut the wheel arches back by at least one inch all round, then used some knock on edging to make it MOT friendly.
I also added  a set of exted bump stops from paddock spares. (mine maybe for sale)
Oh then there are extended brake lines you may want too (also maybe for sale)
