Title: Misty Morning
Post by: Bush Tucker Man on November 23, 2005, 10:12:55
What a beautiful morning, once the mist had started to rise.
I took this image on my way back home after dropping 'Small-Child' off at school.
It's of the River Calder (http://community.webshots.com/photo/402379292/510239226RbYyKT) where the Aire & Calder Navigation Canal crosses it on an aquaduct by the side of the British Waterways lock gates manufacturing facility at Stanley Ferry (http://uk.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=435500.000001245&Y=423000.945291345&width=700&height=400&gride=435600.000001245&gridn=422999.945291345&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=grid&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&zm=1&scale=25000)

We've had lots of threats of mist (or probably fog), but I haven't seen any yet.

But even if we get some, I don't think I'd be getting any pictures like that on my run to work

Beautiful blue sky here now, very sunny but awfully cold out of the sun.  Anybody would think it was winter *shiver* :)

Beautiful blue sky here now,

'Ditto' to the south-west of York this afternoon (http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=14796) as well.
It was a bit misty right by the Ouse at Acaster Malbis though, standing on the slip-way

Woudn't mind seeing a view like that in the morning.  :)   Unfortunately it's dark when I leave home and getting dark, or dark, on my return. :(  Datalas, your more than welcome to the freezing mist/fog up here.  May make you nostalgic for your home territory. :D

Well, today, Thursday & Friday are my days off this week. I have been fitting a new sink & cupboards down in the basement utility/Dog-room.
The photo was taken coming home from school-run this morning, the Acaster-Malbis visit co-incided with a 'fact-finding' mission

Write a book, Dyf!?
I've been accused of that before

Hey Richard,
I bet you used to write instruction manuals for a hobby.
Very useful article, thanks.

It was in this article

Oddly enough, work made me miss a dentists appointment so I now have toothache (still) and a £15 bill for missing an appointment
