Title: Tyre sizes
Post by: thermidorthelobster on November 16, 2005, 20:04:07
The tyres on the 101 are labelled 10-10.5x20.

How does this system of measurement work?  I'm OK with my 235/85R16s, but not sure about yet another way of denoting tyre sizes.

Thanks,
David

I was of the belief that 10, 10.5 x 20 is 10" wall height, 10.5"width on a 20" rim. But I could be completely wrong!

Anyone else any ideas?

cheers

Sounds plausible.  I'll take a tape measure next time I see it and see if that makes sense.

Your tyres are roughly 265/90R20, as best as I can work out.

Hope this helps.
