Looks like a Goose-Neck, with a 5th wheel, or more likely a 50mm tow-ball in the load-space.
Easier to reverse than a normal trailer

Seen that Landy in LRO, it has a 4ltr toyota engine and a custom 5th wheel towing rig.
The towing arm in the photo has the company name cut into it.

The ball is about 63mm, got it from USA, and yes it is easyer to drive and reverse. Braking is air over hydralic, so it stops when you want it to.
My favorite mode of transport, work wise. :D

i thought it was but it looked odd in that photo, was the trailer custom built then? or did you build it yourself?

I built it myself, this is No2, No1 was for a farmer on exmoor, he has a doublecab discovery he had built to tow his. We tried to sell them, but with the compressor, braking components etc you are talking 5K, when you can get a Ivor Williams for half that, you have to have a special requirement to have one.
I will often have 4 tonnes on it, so my train weight is upto 7.5 tonnes, but i can still stop quicker than our transit, as the air/hyd brakes means you have 10 wheels locked.
