My friends got one but our books dont cover the adjustment, any ideas.

Doesn't a 2.5 NA have a timing belt not a chain???

it has a belt AFAIK as after all its was the start of the TDI

It's a timing belt. I changed one 2 months ago.

What adjustment do you want to make ?
