Title: The Tumbler
Post by: Bush Tucker Man on October 31, 2005, 22:55:21
For my (now passed by) 40th, my sister-in-law bought me the twin disc (& coincidentally released on my birthday) 'Batman Begins'  (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000B73GYE/qid=1130798924/sr=8-1/ref=pd_ka_1/202-2003270-6554254) DVD.
I've watched it twice & still see details that I've missed, & it's a believeable Gotham City.
It's the best of the bunch by a long streak.
Mindst you that's not difficult with Clooney & Kilmer

Still the point is; I watched the 2nd disc at tea-time.
I knew they built the car against all popular opinions that it would work, but that thing did all the driving stunts (the rooftop chase was models)
It is apparantly capable of over 90mph!!!!

They include the test-footage & overview of the filming

I Want One!!!!!!

HowStuff..... (http://auto.howstuffworks.com/batmobile.htm)

One curious continuity fault???
When Bruce Wayne first sees it in Lucius Foxes department (Applied Sciences), it's black.
When he's driving it in the gym, it's sand camoflague

By The Way; the ending leaves as equel in no doubt at all................

Michael Keaton & Mark Hamill have both been suggested as suitable prospects for the villain.

Guess who????
