Last reports I heard said we are heading for a cold winter this year after the past couple being so mild... so you never know !

You could always just go up to Scotland for a couple of weeks... ;-)

Livin "Darn Sarf" I doubt we'll see more than an inch or two, but it'll still stop everything and the police will be warning people not to go out etc etc. But if a joke if you ask me....

Last year I had to go get the hot lunches for the school across the road as the usual person that does it and taxis were refusing to come out to the village.... took the Jeep, but could have easily done it in the car... there was only a dusting!

Saw this month that you can get a Snow Plow for a wrangler :) (Along with a brush and other bits....

You can see out of a jeep windscreen in winter

Hey, i sadi it because its true, i sold N8 MUD, my wrangler, and do all my heavy towing with my 130 DC, luckily fitted with heated front screen.
My 130 county station wagen has a TD5, so screen demist not to bad, the rangeys are V8s so lots of hot air.
But on a cold wet day, i would sooner drive the softtop jeep, than a defender, the heating system is in another class, the defender system belongs in the sixtys, when it was designed.
But that said, the defender is ageless, and important to some people, class less.
Turn up to ones public school in a 10 year old landy, no probs, 10 year old shogon, and they look down there noses. Sad but true.
