Title: back on the road

back on road again had to wait for window is now fitted new indicator lense now fitted pulled wing out so bonnet sits propper and now my imobilisser is playing up ! never ending gonna be re wireing winch control socket and a heavy duty in/out switch to cab any one got idears on what type switches work well and best place to mount in disco the ones dave landy posted about week ago are nice any one using them

I think that we should make our own - I have my wiring diagra and I am gonna figure out how to do it - it cant be that difficult , can it?

yeh id like to do that dave how was week end did you get much done  i asked again on friday and the answer was NO she say so i got window in and sorted and the indicator lense sorted will come and play this weekend and will sort out some sort of switch im gonna have alook at rs tonite on web see what they got will let you know what i found later regards colin

Ended up staying around home :( , well I say that but I really mean is replacing and welding a new rear cross member onto Jimbobs motor.

let me know what you find on the RS site - I reckon we can easily knock up a decent switch from their bits.   cheap too!

Colin, as I said on Dave's thread I'm going to try & use a spare electric window switch.
Like you, I've got a 3 door so there are two unused switch positions in the centre consol so the in/out can go in one and I intend putting the power on/off toggle switch in the vacant rear window cutoff space.  :wink:

souinds good budgie will have to see some pics sounds like the best place to put is on the window switch mounts will be neat and tidy
