Title: underbody protection
Post by: tjsj on October 07, 2005, 19:51:19
Hi all you zuki guys. I posted a thing on here a couple of days ago about my sj not going into gear properly, well I took it to a garage and they took it apart and told me that a whole new clutch was needed so I took the plunge and its being fitted. I think I should get some knd of underbody protection for it so it doesn't happen again. Can anyone suggest a company that sells stuff like that or if you know anyone who has some for sale. Cheers Tjsj

imho save your pennies and get a paddle clutch for ur sj in the mean time when u get it back get under it take the [PooPoo] plate off the bottom of the bell housing give it a good clean and put some draftexcluder round it and bolt it back if the inspection hole has lost its plug on the top of bell housing get a bit of plate or plastic and silicone sealer and cover it this will help stop the mucky muck mud gettin into your clutch better.
hope this helps you
