Post by: SMason0877 on October 07, 2005, 15:26:04
Has anyone ever had experience in lifting a LWB Vit??  Work, costs etc??
been off road a few times and height is always an issue for me, any advice be it "dont bother" or "get a SWB" will taken on board, thanks folks.

Although "Buy a Landy" comments will be dealt with harshly

Go for the pro-comp lift kit 1.5inch but looks more when you fit tall tyres , well worth doing -can be done in a morning as well .

Spoke to Tony, the plan when i get the money together is to go for the 1.5" procomp lift and fit 215/85x15s,wont need to change the gearing ratio with these seemingly either which is good.  He also said i could put 30's on there (although not quite sure what size 30's are   ).

Now where did i put that lottery ticket  [-o<

simon
best bet is to join as many zooki clubs as poss and search for some one who is up grading their susspension set up this will work out much cheaper for you also think about gettin some spring lift rubbers these are another fairly cheap way of gaining more height you can usually get these of eblag,
tyre sizes are a funny thing wot sort of brand are you thinking about getting?
colways, grizzlys, teknics, bfg,
and again are you going to stick with the 15" or move to 16"GV rims? as some makes of 16" tire are cheaper than the 15" version

let us no how you get on
