Title: 2.0 mpi gear/trans box
Post by: paul_humphreys on September 28, 2005, 16:57:59: What gear/trans box is on a disco 2.0 mpi? I have just got one and I think it needs a transfere box. What other will fit?

i seem to remember one offered on there, with transmission trouble
if not thats a fourth MPI
and 50% with transmission trouble :shock:
dont let the dailies get hold of this information
or they might start slagging off Land Rovers and calling them unreliable and other things :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Just need to get a price for a clutch and fitting now.

I hope not. I drove it about 40 miles with the clutch sliping (upto 80 mph) and then lost drive alltogeather.
I need to get a price for the clutch, as noone seems to list them. Fitting is Ã‚Â£150.

I had my car writen off by the insurance company as a van driver hit it when it was parked out my houst. So the disco is to replace it. The money I have for the car should cover it.
