I'm going to have a few days away in a little town called Watchet in Somerset.
Not yet picked up a map of the area, so in advance is anyone on here from that area? and secondly are there any lanes worth a visit while I'm there?

Muddyweb is not far away, and I think I covered most of the lanes in that part of England whilst trying to find his house :)
Bloomin satnav!

Sadly, Muddyweb will be in Peterborough so can't meet Mr Turtle :-(

Really you shouldn't be driving in Somerset much due to the cider intake. I know a lass who goes down all the time and last visit brought me a huge plastic bottle of the stuff from a place called Shapwick. Lovely, you get strange time gaps when drinking it though!

Used to bring the cider back in my truck, but after fumes off one container leaked into to cab, I decided it was better to carry them in the back

Will be passing Frome on the way down (well nearly), will give a wave as I pass :)
Picked up a map this afternoon, and I can't find to much in the ways of lanes in the area, 3 or 4 UCR's and a couple of Byways, oh well have to stay in the pub and have a few more sherbets
Tim, we might pass each other as you heading this way, I'll be going down the A34, A420 to Swindon, pickup the M4 down past Bristol, pick up the M5 and the rest I can't remember, just hope my GPS will :)
