Title: M56 Mess
Post by: MTyrrell on August 17, 2005, 19:32:32: Was anybody else caught up M56 mess this afternoon?
Took me 2 hours to do a five min journey this afternoon, I needed to come off at J12 Chester services as I live in Elton, 2 min down the road. Was only going one junction from, J14, thereÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s no J13 on the 56 for some reason. Had to go through all the villages like everyone else.
Apparently it was a car bomb either at the services or on the motorway

Tuesday afternoon about 3:30/4.00 come on to the M5 j4 going south to come off at j5, got stuck in a jam that lasted 6 hours,.

Yes 6 hours to do approx 5 miles :(bigangry): :(bigangry): :(bigangry):

:lol: :lol: Similar problem here, when they open up the bridge on the main road at locking time. Sometimes we can have five cars queing.....it's bedlam. :wink: :wink: :lol:
