I am looking into Making my own Rock Sliders for my Disco 200 3 door! and was wondering if anyone has any Plans/Photos?

I love the way these guys just knock one up from the bits of metal they've got lying around the yard. Classic stuff, if only we were all so gifted.

Most of it is having the right tools for the job.
There's a prog on discovery channel Yankee Workshop and some of the furniture he makes is amazing but he's using 1,000s of pounds worth of kit that the ordinary guy doesn't have in his workshop.

Only problem is they don't protect the doors very well....
Bit like my sills, 100x60x4mm wall box section, great from directly below, begger all use for protecting the doors!

Has anybody seen the USA version of Scrapheap Challenge where they build much better, larger, more solidly engineered stuff than in the UK version? Must be down to attitude :x
