Chaps.. don't shoot, query from a mate and I've not had the pleasure of working under the bonnet on a 200Tdi.
How do you tension the alternator? He knows the principle but can't seem to get any leverage on the alternator to move it over in order to tension it. Apparently all conventional levers fail to get in there.
Any suggestions?
