Title: Mobile Auto Electrician - West Midlands
Post by: chris9119 on August 24, 2011, 17:26:56
Hi, I'm looking for a mobile auto electrician around the West Midlands who is conversant with Land Rover Range Rover P38's.

Left the vehicle for a few days and now all hells broke loose......, everytime I try to start it I get every alarm possible coming up on the display and she will not turn over\fire up.

Have checked web sites for common faults, etc, but nothing comes up like the faults I'm getting....

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Chris

Chris, it's not something as simple as the battery not being up to the job, is it?  I know that the Td5 does similar stuff when the battery has lost some charge.

Will hook it up to a jump start and see if it goes away. I know that the fault for gearbox alarm fault is a dodgy earth.

Will let you know.

Thanks

Chris

Simon

Thanks for advice.

Fitted new battery and most of the faults have cleared and it now starts.. Only fault remaining is "windows not set"...., on all switches....

Again, thanks Chris
