Post by: landandy on February 13, 2007, 13:47:53
Hi chaps Wife just been towed back by aa man. clutch problem. The pedal went right down. Then AA man pulled it up now it will not go down very solid. He thought it was slave cylinder but that would mean a floppy pedal and no fluid Wouldn't it. It had a new clutch and forlk about 2 years ago. cold it be a master cylinder problem?

Could be the selector fork. They have a habit of punching through at the point of swivel forcing the slave piston against the bell housing.

Check out this post (http://forums.mud-club.com/viewtopic.php?t=36086) as it has a picture of a damaged fork and some further details.

Good luck.
