i may make some of you feel sik at my collection but each to his own i suppose i like them all for their own reasons..

For work I have a Micra, I'm a driving instructor so the rangie would be a no-no.

Julie has traded her Fiesta for a TDi, my sister has even gone over to the dark side and bought a 3.9EFi RRC.

But nowt shifts a caravan quite like my LSE.

Mind you, I've driven the 90 to work today. It would be rude not to - the Skoda only became the "other" car yesterday morning!

The TD5's almost as quick up to 15 mph, but the octavia's a heck of a lot quicker everywhere else :D

Post by: muddyjames on October 10, 2006, 16:06:43: My daily drive is a rover 620i. Its not cool by any standards but it does 11p a mile which for a 2.0litr 16v car I think is damn good.

I will have a frod transit jumbo van minibus on my drive for a few days over the weekend and then that will be swapped with a 06 transit van again for a few says before taking it off to my voluntary work. (thats if all the plans go to plan!) :lol:

when i first got it a few years ago. I managed to weld up the arches and respray it outside last summer. Next plan is to fit a later turbo engine and make it run on LPG with megasquirt.

I cant find a decent picture of the turbo! Ive got lots of the bits (http://www.tomwoods.co.uk/99T) but none of the whole!. it was a 'quick' project that ended up taking 2 years and more work than i intended!. But it is damn fun to drive now :D

it is actually the same year and body type!. I wasnt planning on having 2 but it just happened ;) it makes keeping parts in stock less hassle though!

Yes, it's been on Ebay...not quite enough interest :(

I was hoping for Ã‚Â£4500, and I've been offered Ã‚Â£4k by the guy I bought it from last Feb - but he's got a Mustang to sell & he doesn't seem in enough of a rush for me. If he doesn't get moving I'll be looking for the Ã‚Â£4k elsewhere...anyone interested?

Used to live and work in B/mouth.... Ã‚Â£125 p/week rent for a 1bed flat in poor condition... As for buying one.... no-way could i afford a house, maybe a studio flat would be affordable.

Post by: jalopy joe on February 05, 2007, 12:49:35: Our other car, mostly driven by Pam (SWMBO) is a Suzuki Liana. Not very exciting I know, but having said that its never missed a beat in the 3 years we've owned it, and only ever cost us routine servicing and replacements.

quick question how do isle of man no. plates work?? i presume they are not age relatd e.g. a reg being 1984??

Post by: iomlr on February 05, 2007, 22:01:54: correct! we have our own car registrations over here oh and it may interest u we have no MOT's over here! thats right! your landrover would have one test when brought to the island then never tested again. the only reason it might get test if involved in a crash or if the police have told u a few time of a reocuring fault.
