Title: knocking noise

Can anyone help,if i am turning right from a stationary position,i sometimes get a knocking noise(n/s rear)sounds like maybe a loose exhaust,checked my exhaust,all seems fine,does,nt do it all the time,just when i turn tight and accelerate hard,and only on r/h lock :?

Or that old gem...... dodgy tyre wear on the rear. Check the inside edge of the tyres... you may find that it has one tread block high, then the next low, then high, etc. It gives a knocking sound like a CV joint failed.

I was sceptical about this, but it happened on our previous Freebie and fresh tyres solved the problem. You could try swapping wheels front to rear. This will tell you if this is the problem.

hi chaps,done what redlinemike and v8moneypit,sugested,still got the problem though,took it back to dealers,no luck there,they drove it(did,nt make a squeek,typicle)they put it on ramp and cheaked all underneath,no problems,I dont think its a serious problem,but it sure is annoying.
 Anyone at all please help.
