As some of you may have already read i am fitting a 3.5 V8 into my series 2a and as i have a RR gearbox for the engine i need axels that can take 4x4 all the time so i am going to fit 90 axels as they have CV not UJ and also i want the dics brakes and servo of the 90 to fit to my series.
There are a few problems i thought of and they are 90 axels are coil not leafers can i mod them to take leafers and also can i use my series steering or do i have to take the whole steering system out of the 90 :?:
Thanks :!: :!:

Yes you can do it and you can keep the original steering system.

The track of the axle is wider, so you'll have the wheels sticking out. Not a problem - but you'll need eyebrows.
If you modify the chassis around the suspension mounts you'll need to check to see if you need an SVA. I think they changed the regs and that 'any' change to the suspension now requires an SVA.
As an alternative, you could find some Stage 1 axles (rocking horse poo - I know).
