Title: mistery turnover question, it didn't stop!
Post by: Tractorboy16 on January 16, 2006, 14:39:45
hi

the week after xmas when we had all the snow i was trying to start mi landy when something rather strange happened. still can't figour out what actually happened,

my grow plugs are failry [!Expletive Deleted!] now and it was dam cold so had the battery on charge over night and started it with it still on..

gave the old girl some heat anfd turned the engine over, it wasn't going to go after i had had it turning over for a few turns, went to turn the key off except the starter motor didn't dis engage and it kept spinning,

in the end, it kept going for ages until i diconected the battery charger and it ran the battery down so much there was no power left in it.

all is fine now though, starts just liek normal, not sure if it was just a freak thing as nothing seems to have changed. was hell of a frosty that night, was 27th dec, the day the snow all came so she was white all over.

any one know if this happening before?

me xxx

It could be a sticking switch.  Check the connections.

If it wasn't the switch the solenoid is next down the line
