Hi guys my 110 is playing up, was fine but as the wife drove it the other day it just lost drive on a roundabout, i have taken the large plate off of the bottom of the transfer box to see if the input gear had broken up, but is all good, the clutch is turning the gearbox as yo can hear it when you engage a gear the drive just not getting to the transfer box. any ideas?

Have you tried it in diff lock?
-
yep, makes no difference, high low or diff lock still no drive
-
Take the round cover off the back of the T/Box to see if the Input shaft has sheared its splines, not the plate on the bottom [-X. It sounds as though you have sheared the splines from the main g/box input shaft. 8-[

hi im pretty simple minded but could it not be a cv joint, or would diff lock still drive it???

Diff Lock would still drive it if it was just a cv, half shaft or single diff or prop problem
-
ahhh ok  i thought you had to take front prop off for that to work lol well now i know

tried that first, just a big nut inside that wont turn or do anything, t/box oil was clean, no debris anywhere so dont knowwhat to do

If you took the PTO cover off the back of T/box you should have seen the input gear & will be able to determine whether the splines have sheared.

i took the pto cover off and behind it there is just a big nut and a large metal plate cant see the input gear.

you could have worn drive flanges fella, take the bolts off and have a look at the end of ya half shafts.

or it could be the mainshaft in the gearbox, bearings gone....try ASHCROFTS for one.
