Title: question about the trooper duty
Post by: strapping young lad on March 08, 2005, 20:19:19
my old man used to have the trooper duty

3 door

i think it had a 3ltr turbo diesel engine in it (unsure of size but i know it was a diesel)

he got rid of it for a td5 disco cos he said it was bad for mpg

can anyone tell me the mpg for such a car?

Mine is a 3.1 td duty SWB . 26 to 28 miles to the gall usually .
Depends what type of roads you drive on really . Low gear windy ones tend to use more fuel as does pushing it at 70 mph+

The £1 a day extra I spend on fuel is saved by not having to spend on any spare parts
