Not really, depends on whether you do a Supension Lift or a body lift or both?

Body lift is quite straight forward up to 2", I think you can buy the Ali blocks from Milners.

A suspension lift is quite simple also, most people just Fab up some longer shackles for the rear springs and wind up (gently) the front torsion bars, removing the anti roll bar too. But i have known people to use Jeep springs XJ as a direct replacement for extra lift.

Try speaking to Paul at   www.macsport4x4.com  His Sporty is modded, much more than most.

I had a 2" lift on mine using pro comp shocks with a body lift, tried using the extended Shackles for a while before going down the body lift route.

Other good Daihatsu related sites are   www.daihatsu-drivers.co.uk  or  www.warfs.org  both very good for tech stuff like lifts etc....

Hope this helps

Phil

My Sportrak is lifted with Bloodredoffroad 2" shackles on the rear springs, and the front torsions wound up to level it.
Easily accommodated the 31" Kumhos, although I had to remove the trailing edge of the front bumper with the ol' angle grinder! ;)
All in all, easy to do...
