depends if you can weld and have a welder really! new dumb iron(chassis leg) is under a tenner i think, new wing 20 maybe?
does it defo need replacing or could u just weld a new sleeve over the top?-might be a lot easier.
If you can weld its easyish but takes a while(lots of grinding and welding), wing is simple only a few bolts!

The biggest difficulty and also one of the most important parts about it is alignment, get it wrong and you'll have cocked up your suspension geometry.

making up a jig helps wid alignment, how is ur chassis leg damaged really?

cut the wing bolts off with a small grinder as all the muck gets up there and the bolts rust together, it saves a lot of time and bother piddling around with spanners, also don't forget if it's the drivers side then it should have a mudguard which has bolts throught it and the wing into the piller. As for the welding treat yourself to a mig and give it a bash, if you can plate it then great just make up a u/ box section and have a practice on a spare piece of plating first, Migs are a handy piece of kit, youre gonna need one for all sorts of jobs and will save you money in next to no time...check this link out for tips and ideas.....good luck
