Title: Who do you insure your Series 1 with? Fully Comp and 1500 miles is £90.

Who do you insure your Series 1 with? My quote from Peter Best for Fully Comp and 1500miles is £90 (even though I only do 200 miles a year).

Anyone got better?

My S3 cost I think £80 to add onto my Classic policy with the Elise by Heggarty Insurance. Fully comp limited miles (about 1500) and other than driving it homefrom leeds to cornwall its done about 5 miles in 6 months.

Doesn't sound too bad if your happy with the miles, afew more won't up it alot.  Mines £350 but then I was only 22 when payed that and it was classed as my only vehicle, its been converted to diesel so marks the "modified" flag (gotta watch those 2.25d's, oh the power!).

I got unlimited mileage though as I can do 200 miles in a weekend, tried 4.5k and 6k in the past but kept exceeding it - give it a proper run!

Cheers guys - doesn't seem too bad then. Sounds like I'll stick with Peter Best.
