hi, Im going to get some Goodrich stainless braided brake hoses for my 1976 series 3 swb and saw that on paddock they sell "3pc Braided Brake Lines Series 88in 1960-1980(approx) UNF fixings - plus 2 inch" are those the right ones? Ben
-
Yup.
It was late 70's early 80's when it went over the metric threads.

I plan to get parabolic springs and keep the normal shackles will i still need to get longer brake hoses? Ben
-
Yes, IIRC parabolics give you 1" extra lift their own. I would suggest changing the dampers too as parabolic springs react differently to standard springs. Not sure what your options are on the dampers though.
-
You WILL need longer hoses with the Paras. I had std length Goodrich on mine, and when I fitted the Paras, they were like bowstrings!. I went for 109 +2" hoses - giving me +4" over std
-
lol i dunno how standard can be long enough anyway.
I'm on standard leafs still and found that standard length were to short for comfort.
