Not sure if it helps but the obvious thing is to get hold of an engine and autobox from possibly a Paj, just happen to know a guy who has broken a perfectly good one which has the engine and auto box in all good and working well still in it. He is talking of weighing it in with the engine and box in so could be a real cheapy ?

He is up by Hexham in Northumberland if interested.

if not mate, youll need the box and propshafts, pedal box, possibly fuel pump but you might be able to just unbolt a part of the auto one to convert the manual, the radiator( its got the oil cooler for the gearbox built in) thrttle assembly inc. kick down cable, i think flywheel aswell. theres plenty of other little odds and sod that youd need aswell so it would be easier to buy a whole truck as a donor. :-k

It is a big job (more little fiddly jobs than anything else) even though its easier to sell yours and get an auto it depends on how much you like the truck youve got now, if i wanted a 2.8 or a v6 id rather drop one of them lumps into mine rather than swap it for a new truck! :D

HTH ;)

Shame this one has been broken it was mint with very little rust, he offered it around for £800.00 but was only offered £400.00  ! He has made more than that already for the bits he has sold !! 2.8 auto SWB with just over 100k on the clock !
