Hi, just wondering what people have come up with or bought to stop the glare bouncing through the screen, when using the light bar. I find it more difficult to see when i have the lights on. I have been browsing the internet to find a solution but had no joy.
Cheers in advance..
Matt.

found with mine the further back you mount them the better. I have a light bar above the screen and the glare is awful so i mounted another set using a roof bar between the front of the roof rail on my Disco and they are brill, no glare at all.

Hi there, The easiest way to stop the glare is to black out the bonnet with a dark mat colour which will stop any reflection, Hope this helps or if i've read it wrong, just put eye browses on the bottom of the lights

Fit different design of lamps, something like Xlites.

Fit a shade at the bottom of the lamp, move the lights further back, paint the windscreen black, don't switch them on.
It's a design floor with all of the landy light bars I've seen, mounting them forward in front of the screen, almost as if they are designed for looks not function. The lights need to be a few inches behind the end of the roof to limit the glare, but you'll still see your bonnet.

take um off.! put in bin. put bonnet pod on, no glaring in then.

i always thought light bar lights were there for when wading in deep water saving the rest from blowing a fuse :azn:
-
paint the windscreen black
Kind of makes the lights pointless, LOL!!!!

Why have them at all???? most people fit bolt ons because everyone else has them the word (sheep) comes to mind , i can understand a vehicle in the desert needing them or the trucks downunder in Aus, if you must have them fit them much further back on the roof or fit a exterior sunshade,
