So, I decided to take a Sunday drive and excercise the Disco. I told 2 friends, they told 2 friends, etc. and next thing I know 20 trucks are gathered at the meeting point to take a run! 8)
This is in the George Washington National Forest here in Virginia. (GWNF) The trail is called Shoe Creek, it is actually a 'Forest Road' through the public land, skirting some private land as well, and crossing the Appalacian Trail at it's highest point. 5 creek crossings, a few rock gardens, and scads of beautiful scenery.
Loads of pics in my gallery.

Looks like you had a good day out there .. .. .. .. :D

That's what its all about... looks like a great day 8)

Looks damn fine Mike.
You guys have all the luck (especially fuel prices  )
-
Yeah, the fuel prices do definately help, though we complain when they hit near $3.00 / gallon earlier this year (less than 2 quid / gallon)
The bad part from a Landy standpoint is that some of the best trucks are illegal for import still - basic Defenders, 101s, many lightweights, and especially the newer diesels. Shame on the oil burners, too, as I love a good smoker. I have a '96 Ford Powerstroke 7.3L pickup I love, as well.

A few months ago, I was on 'LandRovers Only' (http://landroversonly.com/forums/index.php?) & commented that over here Diesel was the equivilant of about US $7.70 a gallon. Y
By the surprised responses I got, you'd have thought I'd said something bad about 'Moms Apple Pie'

I had a good look at the Dodge pick-ups when we were over on honeymoon in October 1998 & quite fancied the Cummins 5.9 Turbo-Diesel version
This (http://www.dodge.com/ram_2500_3500/index.html?context=vehiclePage&type=vehicleLink) body-style (which still seems current?)
