Title: steel rim centre invert help?

my mate is turning the centres of my disco steel wheels he has grinded the stitch weld off but can not get the centre out is it spot welded to the rim or is it just really tight fit and hes not trying hard enough any advice /tips greatly

They are spot welded as well as MIG welded and the spot is a biggy.

cheers thought as much possible to drill out i wonder then puddle weld back up i shall investigate ta glyn

I'd say holesaw rather than drill, it's the size of a thumbprint easily.

You'll need a very big MIG too :wink:

sounds like a plan then when they are turned puddle weld all the holes up my mates got the gear he is welder fabricator and does blasting so he has his uses cheers for info glyn
