I have just noticed that the rear door has 2 speakers. I am thinking that they originally worked off the factory stereo. I have a Panasonic head unit which has 3 pre-outs (front, rear & sub). There is a red connector behind the stereo but i don't know which wire does what. Is it a low level feed to an active to drive the speakers? is it worth wiring it up?
Any help would be appreciated.

The speakers have an amplifier attached to them so all you need is to cable from the "sub" output on your head to the amplifier ... and then pray they actually work
Of the 4 Discoveries I've owned only one had working speakers
HTH :)

Got the stereo in now, Had to work out which wire was the REM to power the amp up, and they work. :D
Sounds alot better with some bass in.
