Title: Sportrak roofrack

well, i would like to fit a roofrack to my sportrak. as many may know there are no rain gutters on the back of the sportrak so i will have to bolt thru the roof or some other cunning plan. any ideas anyone??   :-k

that kit looks ace! it has the special mount for the hard top too! hope they reply with something positive!! :-k

I ripped a roof rack off a sportrac some time ago, was dead easy to remove and it looked factory fittted, just yanked the bolts through the fireglass roof.  There was a rubber pad to stop water.

that was my next plan, to get a standard rack and bolt it thru the roof.

sorry for bumping this old thread but I used roof bars from a 1995 Frontera estate, which are pretty much straight from front to rear, then removed the foot and and shortened the bar (which is ally) and put it back togehter.  Then just bolted it through the fibreglass roof.  It can now take standard Halfrauds tyre clamp on roof bars! ;) :afro:

just seen a sporty gen roof rack on fleabay may help someone thats still after one
