:? i have a 1998 feelander 2.0 diesel (none td4) with no a/c since owning vehicle, have tried to re-gas that was not prob,
found comp not clicking in took of wire to comp and found no feed when switching on a/c but light comes on the switch, put a poss feed to comp and you can hear clutch ingauge so think that must be ok, somthing wiring is not i asume hoping someone can shed some light on the matter or even some pointers would be nice as hynes manuel does not give you much help apart from fuses, which i have looked at all, it says take to main dealer if any problem with a/c hope some one can help cheers

You have got further than I have on mine (same issue)
Have you tried taking the switch out and connecting the wires. Could be that the switch contacts are corroded/worn but the light circuit is ok as its likley to be a different contact in the switch.
if its not that, then is wiring loom hell id guess.
