Title: Freelander V6
Post by: Discohugh on June 12, 2007, 12:15:04
Hi, i currently have a disco 300 tdi and wife has a TD4 freebie, my mate has a mint V6 freebie for sale at a mates price for me. I am tempted to buy it , i like my disco but sometimes would like something a bit more civil and refined to drive. My question is how practical are they to do a bit of laning and reliability issues with the V6?

great fun laning, but VERY different to a disco

The freelander itself is great fun to drive both on and off road, and I find it very practical  :D

Having laned and off roaded most LRs over the last 25yrs have finally found one that is not only very cpable off road but also very civil on it...V6 is thirsty but mine is converted to LPG runs a dream goes anywhere its big brothers can and goes like [PooPoo] off the proverbial shovel.

No plans to change it, maybe add to the collection though
