hope im in the right thread here
we bought our first freelander and wanting to put side steps on
we bought them with fittings and everything
but the problem is the nutserts and getting them in without turning round
husband has been tryin now for 3 weeks and losing his temper fast
is there a way any one can advise a good and quick way
Tripitaka did give us an idea on how to do them and said if we was closer to him he would do them :D
pity he wasnt coz i sick of bangin legs on the stairs were he has put them
-
were are you?
-
shaw in lancs
-
why you need side steps tho freelander aint that high
-
for the little girl and also to make it look good
next is for him to get light guards
-
well i dont understand what bits are spining
-
If you've put Rivnuts in and they're spinning it means you haven't squeezed them up enough. Sometimes you have to have two squeezes on the riveter handle to full clamp the panel.
-
We put side steps on ours, didnt think about them getting bashed and there bashed
Who cares though
-
May be a silly question - but, have you got the tool for installing the nutserts?
-
