Title: Squeky Suspension
Post by: davismit on October 02, 2006, 07:52:21
Hi All, Had my 2001 1.8 a few weeks now and very happy with it.  Had an annual service a week ago and everything looked fine.  Have noticed the past few days that the front suspension has got quite squeky/creaky when going over speed bumps etc.  Seems fine on normal road and control feels lovely.

Is this anything to worry about and should I get it to the garage to see whats going on or do freelanders squek?

Cheers

Dave

Have a look at the anti roll bar bushes.

Then jack it up and look at  the ball joints. try pushing the corners down and see if you can make it squeak.
