A friend of mine is having problems with his sun roof (electric) on him freelander.
Has anyone got access to an exploded diagram of this so we can see what it may be.
Or advise (constructive please) on what it may be.
When you operate it only the left hand side drives, you need to push the right hand side othewise it dosen't move and just jams solid.

I'm no expert, but I suspect it's cable operated and one has snapped. Ours are just mechanical lift up ones being a 3 door :D

Just found this on another forum. Might be of help. Looks like there are lots of fragile plastic components that simply break too easily.

They are prone to going and npt a lot you can do to fix...had mine professionally fixed (under warranty) by a sunroof specialist based somewhere in south deryshire. Came out did the job in about an hour couldnt fault service Not a single problem since..Have got his details "filed safely" somewhere...will try and dig them out and post in a day or 2.

That would be very useful if you can find the details.
An indication of the price would also be nice.

Still cant find details of the sunroof fella...try and contact Shardlow Landrover as it was them who organised it....Price again no idea as it was covered by warranty.
