Yes. The Cam pully is connected to the cams which are in the head, the belt goes over the cam pully to the "crank" at the bottom. The head is bolted to the block wiht the gasket in between.

The back bit at the top is just the cam cover.
The silver bit below tis is the main body of the head with cam pully (gold) on the side.

Yes... and I would never fit a used one - so will need replacing.  

I've got a list of all the part numbers required to do the full upgrade as recommended by Land Rover when doing the head gasket if required.
